2016 has been quite a year for us. Shortly after our launch, we started receiving fantastic feedback from our users. You loved our simple interface, how intuitive it was to use, how it saved you hours of needless paperwork each month. This has been immensely rewarding for Surina, me and the MLM team. Having set out to design something that would make our own lives, as well as other GP’s lives, easier; it makes it feel worthwhile to have achieved that task!

A truly humbling experience was to have this effort recognised by other bodies as well, and we have been nominated as ‘health tech startup of the year’ by both Medic Footprints and Healthcare Startup Society.

However, we have no intention of resting on our laurels after this. We have been engaging with every one of you who has taken the time to get in touch with us, to listen to what you like and what other features you feel would be of benefit to you. This has helped us to plan and design updates to the system. I’m truly excited to announce that our first major update to the site is nearly ready to launch. It includes many fantastic new features as well as the most frequently requested ones. Most importantly, alongside all these new features, the site remains just as intuitive and simple to use as well as completely optimised for use on smartphones, tablets and computers. 

 

A few of these features are:

An overhaul of the whole job booking system

Here you can see our new job booking screen, including easier booking of session timings.

 

Ability to edit jobs

Editing jobs was our number one requested feature. I’m glad to say that with the new system, you can edit each job just as easily as you can create them.

 

Easy adding batches of jobs

Our ‘Save & Add New’ button takes the effort out of adding bunches of new jobs in one go. Just add the job, click this button, and the screen will then remain populated just as before allowing you to adjust the date or time and add another session again. 

 

Ability to copy and paste jobs to new dates

Another commonly requested feature. The team have worked really hard to implement this feature in a simple to use way which makes it easy to add the same job on different days in just one click.

 

Blocking off dates as unavailable

Sometimes you just want to block off a date that you know you cant work, to prevent you accidentally booking a session then in the future. This feature will allow you to do just that!

 

Easy adding extra charges to jobs

If you do some extra work such as a home visit during a session, you can easily now edit the job and add the extra charge with description in a specified section. 

 

Delete invoices that have been sent to practices

This was tricky to develop a robust solution to as there are significant auditing implications to deleting invoices!   We’ve thought really hard about this problem and created a method to archive any deleted invoices for audit purposes, allowing you to edit, and re-invoice without problem.
